Kids clubs - snacks & meals

These are simply suggestions for some of the things that you could feed children at after school programs/Kids Club, that will be affordable and the children will enjoy.

Remember to be aware of any allergies or intolerances to foods. A suggestion is that you keep your church nut free to avoid any problems with nut allergies (no peanut butter, no chocolate, etc…). Of course you may have other food allergies to contend with like lactose intolerance or gluten free, find out what you can about these from the parents and take suggestions from them as to appropriate foods. If you have helpers in the kitchen it might be a good idea to have file cards on each child, so that all leaders can refer to these and know who is to get which meal.
