Church
The Synod of New South Wales and the ACT is part of the Uniting Church in Australia.
The third largest Christian denomination in Australia, the Uniting Church seeks to be courageous, inclusive and generous as it moves with God, transforming communities.
Using the menu on the left you will discover more about Christianity, the world’s largest religion, and why the Uniting Church believes that Christians in Australia are called to bear witness to a unity of faith and life in Jesus Christ which transcends cultural and economic, national and racial boundaries.
Other menu items offer practical help about the life and administration of the Synod of New South Wales and the ACT: a directory of church ministries and departments, how to contribute financially or receive funding for mission, the church’s foundational and strategy documents, and what we have achieved in the past year.
There is information for students and teachers and, under Resources and Administration, a directory of resources for church ministers and office holders, in including education, human resources, placement procedures and property services.
