Australian Church Women: National Conference

The 2005 National Conference of Australian Church Women will be held October 10-14 at the Collaroy Centre, Homestead Avenue, Collaroy.

The theme of the conference is "Forward Together In Christ".

Australian Church Women is an ecumenical association which seeks to unite Christian Women across denominational boundaries, and to promote peace, understanding and unity through faith in and love for the one God, through Christ our Lord.

It gives practical support to the Fellowship of the Least Coin, to young women of various nationalities who are studying for Christian ministries, and to Special Days' projects.

There are Councils of Australian Church Women in every state and territory of Australia.

As well as the business sessions, conference highlights will include an ecumenical service, guest speakers, handwork display and sale, and celebrations of the Word.

A feature of the conference program will be the open day, with a special lunch, on Wednesday, October 12.
