Sydney Alliance and Rural Alliance
Connect with your community!
The Uniting Church has developed a partnership with a group of community organisations, churches and unions to find a way, where together and in our own places we can reconnect in our communities and work for change.
Initially established in the Sydney basin, the Alliance is also expanding to rural New South Wales.
The Alliance gives community groups, churches and faith communities an opportunity to develop skills in relational networking, partnership development, analysing the dynamics that encourage and hamper change, and growing leaders that can collaborate to make a difference.
The Uniting Church Sydney Alliance steering group has developed resources as part of the Congregational Renewal Strategies for groups to organise a Listening Campaign to hear the needs of your local community.
Bible Study Material to reflect our call to engage, serve and partner with others to see God's purposes lived out in our world and the booklet Effective Organising for Congregational Renewal can be ordered or downloaded from The School of Continuing Education.
The Alliance offers two-day and six-day training events for leaders in your group or church on growing relational partnerships to facilitate change.
