Ways to give
There are many ways you can share in God’s generosity to each one of us and help the Uniting Church in Australia carry out the work God is calling us to do.

Living is Giving
Living is Giving is the primary means by which congregations in the New South Wales Synod of the Uniting Church contribute to the church’s mission and service at home and abroad. It links congregations’ giving and mission planning with the ministry of the whole Uniting Church. You can support — prayerfully and financially — a diverse range of projects, from indigenous ministry to evangelism in the bush to chaplaincy in hospitals.

Giving Direct
Giving Direct is an easy way to guarantee regular contributions to your congregation and the ministry of the Uniting Church — by direct debit or electronic funds transfer (EFT). You choose how much to give and when you want the money transferred. You can also use this method to give directly to Living is Giving projects.
For more information, visit the Giving Direct website or contact Mele Akau, (02) 8267 4393 or melea@nsw.uca.org.au. |

Uniting Church Drought Appeal
The drought continues to bite deeply with devastating effects on rural people and families.
The Rev. Niall Reid, Moderator of the Synod of New South Wales and the ACT, is encouraging congregations and community members to give generously to the Uniting Church Drought Appeal (relaunched in August 2008).
By giving generously to the Uniting Church Drought Appeal you will help sustain communities and individuals suffering as a result of the drought.

ABC Appeal
The ABC Appeal is run annually by the Board of Mission. It supports local and international projects that do not receive substantial funding from other sources, and would struggle without this extra support.
This year, funds from the ABC Appeal will help revive a child care centre for disadvantaged children in North Korea, provide chaplaincy to New Caledonian patients in Sydney hospitals, pay for a timeslot at the WOWFM station in St Mary’s for youth to share the issues, ideas and beliefs that are important to them, and support the Synod’s alternative lifestyle ministry on the north coast. For more information, contact Sue Willgoss on (02) 8267 4387. |

Easter Thank Offering
The Easter Thank Offering Appeal is run annually at Easter time by the Board of Mission. This year’s projects included providing eye care for children in Fiji, and providing a training program for parents and families of difficult children with learning and behavioural problems in rural communities. For more information, contact Sue Willgoss on (02) 8267 4387. |
